Packing & Storage details:
– We make sure that bananas are well-packed in a large shipping container, packaged
in fibre, telescopic, and cardboard boxes. Lined with a foam pad and with 10mm
holes on its sides for air passage.
– Bananas are harvested before it is full mature, to prevent ripening and obtain
maximum shelf life.
– Banana shipment should be handled carefully during shipping. It must be
refrigerated to keep the fruit unripen and prevent producing ethylene before reaching
the destination.
– After reaching destination, bananas must be stored at about 16 °C with using a little
concentration of ethylene, to help the fruit ripen after a few days of distribution.
